Provincetown International Film Festival returns to Provincetown from June 10 - 14, 2026, marking its 28th year as the town’s premier cultural event and the largest arts festival on Lower Cape Cod. Dedicated to showcasing outstanding achievements in independent film, PIFF highlights the work of both emerging and established filmmakers from around the world, with a strong emphasis on original voices and bold storytelling.

Over five days, the festival presents more than 80 American and international narrative, documentary, and animated features and shorts, along with panel discussions and special events. PIFF is deeply committed to amplifying voices that are often underrepresented or outside the mainstream, reinforcing Provincetown’s long-standing role as a home for creative expression, inclusivity, and artistic innovation. Each year, the festival draws more than 10,000 film lovers, industry professionals, and arts patrons to Provincetown for an immersive celebration of cinema.
