Also known as the Provincetown Roundup, Serenity by the Sea is celebrating its 39th year in 2026. The annual gathering focuses on recovery, unity, and service for the LGBTQ+ community and friends, with Provincetown providing a welcoming setting for a weekend centered on recovery, personal growth, spirituality, and community.
About Serenity by the Sea
Serenity by the Sea is an annual Provincetown recovery gathering featuring 12-Step meetings, workshops, activities, and opportunities for fellowship.
The event welcomes people from the LGBTQ+ community as well as friends and others in recovery. Over the course of the weekend, participants have opportunities to attend meetings, hear from others in the recovery community, take part in workshops, and connect in an environment focused on mutual support and personal growth.
For many attendees, the experience extends beyond the scheduled programming. Provincetown's walkable setting and strong sense of community provide opportunities to reconnect with friends, meet new people, and spend time together between events.
