39th Swim for Life & Paddler Flotilla

The 39th Swim for Life & Paddler Flotilla, held on September 12 in Provincetown, is one of the community’s most meaningful and inspiring annual events. Set against the scenic backdrop of Provincetown Harbor, participants take part in open-water swims and paddling routes that highlight the natural beauty of the Outer Cape.

Beyond the physical challenge, the Swim for Life is deeply rooted in compassion, raising critical funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS, women’s health, the environment, and broader community health initiatives. It reflects Provincetown’s longstanding role as a place of healing, inclusion, and environmental appreciation.

Participants and spectators alike are united in celebrating both the strength of the community and the importance of protecting the waters and landscapes that make this region so special.
