The Provincetown Carnival Parade returns for its 48th year
The Provincetown Carnival Parade returns on August 20, 2026, as the centerpiece of Carnival week, transforming Commercial Street into a vibrant, high-energy celebration. Beginning at 3:00pm, the parade features an unforgettable procession of elaborate floats, dazzling costumes, and creative performances inspired by this year’s “Deep Sea Disco” theme. Starting near the Harbor Hotel and traveling the full length of Commercial Street, the parade draws thousands of spectators who gather to experience one of Provincetown’s most iconic and inclusive traditions.
Following the parade, the celebration continues at the legendary Tea Dance at the Boatslip Resort, where festivities are extended to keep the energy going well into the evening.
