Portuguese Festival & Blessing of the Fleet


The Portuguese Festival returns to Provincetown from June 26-28, marking the 30th annual celebration alongside the 79th Blessing of the Fleet. This beloved tradition honors the town’s deep-rooted Portuguese heritage and longstanding connection to the fishing industry, bringing together residents and visitors for a vibrant weekend filled with culture, history, and community pride.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy a full lineup of festivities, including a lively parade, traditional music and dance, and an array of authentic Portuguese cuisine. The celebration culminates on Sunday with the Fishermen’s Mass and the iconic Blessing of the Fleet, a meaningful ceremony that pays tribute to Provincetown’s maritime legacy. With activities for all ages, the Portuguese Festival offers a rich and memorable experience that reflects the spirit and heritage of Provincetown.
